Web Teks has an immediate opening for a Production Manager to join our web and software development team. We are seeking an experienced, energetic and savvy individual who can manage a dynamic programming/production department, maintaining the highest of standards while exceeding customer expectations. - Oversees the programming department work for all projects.
- Directs and facilitates the overall technical content and other related content issues.
- Implements the assigned areas of all programs.
- Coordinates schedules with internal participants.
- Manages, and hires production staff.
- Works with the Management team in establishing scope, quote and throughout the life of the project and warranty period.
- Documents customer trouble reports in trouble ticketing system and escalates according to established standard operating procedures.
- Reviews work orders ensuring all necessary information is included and may route requests to the appropriate department for clarification.
- Coordinates products throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning.
- Acts as a liaison and monitors project resources and timelines.
- Creates and maintains policies, procedures and standards for the production team.
Qualifications Include:
- Advanced understanding of principles, standards, practices and requirements of technical projects and supporting administration functions
- Functional understanding of SubVersion, PHP 5.0, MySQL
- Proven leadership skills – 2-5 years experience managing a programming team
- Creative problem solving, analytical and project management ability
- Four-year degree in computer science discipline (MIS Degree preferred)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs and Web technologies
- Experience with the Internet and strong understanding of usability
- Direct experience in web interface or software UI development
- Understanding of the technical issues of user interface, usability, algorithms and scalability
- Business analysis, requirements analysis, software design, and software testing
- Software analysis or programming experience very highly valued

Selected Account Manager will be expected to achieve their revenue sales target.

PHP Web Application Developers
- This position requires involvement in the complete development process, from initial requirements gathering, documentation, development and delivery. You will work with a
small team of skilled developers, designers and others to create web applications using PHP and MySQL, primarily on Linux servers. Candidates must be well-versed in both frontend HTML/CSS development and the creation of advanced web applications.
